This contains several of the trailers combined into one, including the most recent with the Dr. Jekyll reveal lots of people are talking about. In reading some of the most current YouTube comments, moviegoers who were ho-hum about the movie a week or two ago, are saying Russell Crowe’s Jekyll and Hyde may get them into the theater/cinema after all! I guess we’ll see.
As a classic movie fan and a lover of many of Universal’s Golden Age monsters, your Keeper has been withholding judgment until we get the final results. Quite frankly, the above trailer did the trick, and has me super excited to see what will happen!
In the United States, The Mummy will get released on the ninth of June, a week after a DC superhero hits the screens on June 2nd in her solo movie. The latest in the Alien movies will be out May 19th. Yet another Transformers will be in theaters June 23rd. King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is already being declared a box office disappointment. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is released May 26th. That is the possible competition.
Lord knows how long The Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 will maintain steam. (I am Groot. We are all Groot).
Thankfully, for Jekyll, Hyde, and crew, there won’t be another Marvel Cinematic Universe movie until fall! I wouldn’t like their chances going up against the likes of Thor, Loki, and The Hulk!
