A writer does everything he can for his daughter until a new book release receives terrible reviews. The outcome of the bad reviews causes a mental breakdown in the father. As he tries to cope with this, he damages the relationship and bond with his daughter. Years later, the grown daughter must confront those childhood memories and the way they have shaped her life. As she deals with the events of the past, she struggles to make personal connections of her own.
